About This Role
Rosebourne already trains one apprentice, Harry, and there is room for a second. You would learn on real jobs, in real customers' homes, with Will next to you.
What You'll Learn - Bathroom and kitchen installation from strip-out to handover - Hot water cylinders, including unvented systems once you are qualified - Leaks, taps, toilets and pipework repairs - How to talk to a customer and how to leave a house cleaner than you found it
Your Journey - Year 1: on the tools with Will, learning the basics properly - Year 2: second fix and your own small jobs - Year 3: working semi-independently, NVQ Level 3 - A job at the end of it if it has worked for both of us
Requirements
- GCSEs in Maths and English (grade 4 or above), or the willingness to get them alongside
- Keen, on time, and not afraid of a cold loft in January
- Practical, and happy asking when you do not know
- A driving licence helps, but is not essential to start
