Rosebourne Plumbing is expanding into complete bathroom and property refurbishments. That means we need skilled plasterers who understand that a perfect finish isn't just nice to have - it's essential. Every wall you skim, every patch you repair, reflects on our reputation.
Based in Great Bedwyn, Marlborough (SN8), we cover Andover (SP10/SP11), Marlborough, and Hungerford (RG17). You'll be working on quality projects in beautiful properties - from Georgian townhouses to modern family homes.

What You'll Be Doing
Work across beautiful Hampshire & Wiltshire countryside
Quality preparation for perfect finishes
Internal Skimming
Multi-finish and board finish plaster to the highest standards. Smooth, flat walls ready for decoration. No waves, no ridges - just perfection.
External Rendering
K-Rend, monocouche, and traditional sand/cement renders. Weather-resistant finishes that protect and transform properties.
Plasterboarding
Dry lining, stud walls, and ceiling work. Standard board, moisture-resistant, and acoustic. Clean, square, ready for finishing.
Repairs & Patching
Making good after plumbing work, matching existing textures, and invisible repairs. Customers shouldn't be able to tell where you've worked.
Decorative Finishes
Venetian plaster, textured finishes, and decorative effects for customers who want something special. Where artistry meets craftsmanship.
Coving & Cornices
Traditional coving and decorative cornices for period properties. Matching existing details and creating elegant transitions.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years professional plastering experience
- City & Guilds/NVQ in Plastering
- Multi-finish skimming to high standards
- Dry lining experience - boarding and taping
- Own hand tools (power tools provided)
Personal Qualities
- Clean, tidy worker - respectful of properties
- Efficient - fast without compromising quality
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional manner - customer-facing role
- Pride in work - high standards always
Bonus skills: Experience with external rendering (K-Rend, monocouche), decorative finishes, or period property restoration is highly valuable. If you've worked on high-end projects where finish is everything, we want to talk to you.

What types of plaster will I mainly be using?
Primarily British Gypsum products - Multi-Finish for skimming, Bonding Coat where needed, and Board Finish for plasterboard. For external work, we use K-Rend and traditional sand/cement renders depending on the property.
Will I be doing just plastering, or other work too?
Primarily plastering, but you'll work as part of bathroom and property refurbishment projects. Understanding how your work fits with plumbing, tiling, and electrical is helpful. Basic making good after other trades is part of the role.
Do I need external rendering experience?
It's a bonus, not essential. Most work is internal - bathroom refurbishments, new walls, ceiling repairs. But external rendering skills open up more project opportunities and can increase your earning potential.
